Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident that Gareth Bale will be 100 per cent fit for the first leg of their Champions League tie with Juventus in Turin on Tuesday evening.
The Wales wing wizard played as a substitute for just over 20 minutes in the 3-2 weekend win at Sevilla, having recovered from a calf injury sustained early on in a 3-1 victory over Malaga in mid-January.
And Ancelotti was more than happy with Bale's contribution and his recovery after the game, telling reporters: "I think Bale is perfect. He had an injury, but then he recovered and is doing well.
"He played just 30 minutes against Sevilla, but he was fine afterwards. He is at 100 per cent."
The availability of Bale comes as a big boost to Ancelotti and Real, with France international striker Karim Benzema ruled of the game in Turin due to a knee problem, however, left-back Marcelo returns after a one-match ban.
Meanwhile, Juve head coach Massimiliano Allegri says his side need to be near-perfect to have a chance of reaching the final, with the Italian expecting goals both in Turin and the Spanish capital.
He added: "We have to try and play a game which is not perfect, because that does not exist, but very good in both defence and attack.
"I don't think it will finish 0-0 in either leg, these are two very good teams, above all in attack."
