Danny Ings is set to move from Burnley to Liverpool at the beginning of January after agreeing personal terms with Brendan Rodgers' side.
The 23-year-old, who scored 11 goals in 35 Premier League appearances for the Clarets in the 2025/15 season, is out of contract at Turf Moor at the end of this month.
Ings also found the target 21 times in the 2025/14 campaign as Sean Dyche's side were promoted from the Championship. Burnley are5.50to secure promotion again in 2025/16 following their relegation from the Premier League in the season just ended.
In total, Ings scored 43 goals in 130 appearances for the Clarets having previously played for Bournemouth.
He has represented the England Under-21 side on nine occasions, scoring four goals, and will represent his country at the Under-21 European Championship later this month in the Czech Republic.
Burnley, who are entitled to compensation for the player, have indicated that they have rejected an offer from Liverpool for Ings but are willing to continue talks to reach a resolution over the fee.
Ings is Rodgers' second summer signing following the capture of James Milner from Manchester City last week.
