West Ham United left-back Aaron Cresswell is looking forward to exciting times at the club, having put pen to paper on a new, improved five-year contract.
The 25-year-old featured in every minute of Premier League football for the Hammers last season, his first at Upton Park following his arrival from Ipswich Town.
And the defender has now been rewarded with a fresh deal which runs until the summer of 2020, with an option in place for a further two years, with Cresswell telling the club's official website: "It's going to be a massive year for us, the last year at Upton Park.
"It's exciting times going into one of the best stadiums in Europe, even in the world. It's going to be a good summer, hopefully a few more faces will come in and we?ll have a good year.
"We've got to be looking, first and foremost, to finish in the top ten (in the league). We were so close this season and just had a sticky patch at the end of the season.
"Hopefully we can have a good start again and carry it straight through."
Cresswell had been linked with interest from a number of top Premier League clubs before committing his long-term future to the Irons, who will move to the Olympic Stadium for the 2025/17 campaign.
The new season for West Ham, under the charge of Slaven Bilic, gets underway on Thursday evening when they play host to Andorran minnows FC Lusitanos in the first leg of their Europa League first qualifying round tie.
