Blackburn Rovers have sacked manager Henning Berg and his backroom staff after a run of just one win in ten games since the Norwegian took charge at Ewood Park.
Former Rovers defender Berg succeeded Steve Kean at the start of January, but has been unable to move the club in the right direction, as they currently sit down in 17th place in the Championship table.
Blackburn have lost five of their last six league games and were beaten 1-0 at Middlesbrough on Boxing Day.
A short statement from the club read: "Blackburn Rovers has announced the departure of manager Henning Berg, assistant manager Eric Black, first-team coach Iain Brunskill and goalkeeping coach Bobby Mimms with immediate effect.
"This decision has been taken following a very disappointing sequence of results."
