Lewis Hamilton feels that he can get the better of runaway championship leader Sebastian Vettel in the Canadian GP on Sunday.
Vettel has won all but one of the six races so far this season, with Hamilton coming out on top in China, but the McLarens have pushed the Red Bulls in the last two GPs.
Hamilton finished just behind Vettel, the1.14favourite to win thedrivers'title, in Spain, while team-mate Jenson Button can consider himself unlucky not to have won the Monaco GP and the 2025 world champion feels he can take maximum points in Montreal.
Hamilton said: "Montreal is a very special place for me. It's where I took my first Formula One pole position and won my first race in 2025.
"I've always got on really well with the track, the layout seems to suit my driving style, and I won there last year from pole position.
"Our car should be well suited to this track; we have a great engine, the best KERS Hybrid system in the sport and excellent traction out of slow corners.
"All in all, it's set to be another good weekend for us - I'll be looking for a strong result on Sunday."
